New Year's resolutions and other such cliches...

Well, here we are , another year in the books. I thought I would load this post with as many cliches as I could stand, but that just seemed too... cliche. I will try to keep it to a minimum. However, as I'm posting, I'm realizing most of what I'm writing is cliche. Even saying that my New Year's resolution is to not make a New Year's resolution is cliche. "Oh what a tangled web we weave." Ah, I did it again. "Woe is me..." I'm quickly going in a downward spiral. Ahh! This has got to stop. All good things must come to an end, and so must this post. So, with that, "...goodbye, farewell, until we meet again." May the force be with you. Amen.

I'm back!

Well, to say it's been a while is a mild understatement. The last time I blogged was June 2015. Strange days indeed. So, if this is the first time you checked out the blog, let me take a second to say, "Welcome." I'm glad you've come along for the ride. It's been a short one thus far. I only posted two other times. I'm hoping to finally get back into it.

One of the things I'll be writing about this year is my journey into the wonderful world of farming./gardening. I like to think of it as, "Farming for life." Actually, I may end up dedicating a blog to that issue.., but one step at a time. I'm looking at living simply, healthy, and purposely. Maybe it's a mid-life crisis thing, or maybe it's a getting back to the basics thing. Either way I'm a man on a mission.

Anyone who knows me knows I tend to think a little bit out of the box. I hope that as we go on this journey together there would be something I write that would help you on your journey, like a random fun fact, a cool farming tip, a word of encouragement, etc. to help get you through the day. Maybe this blog will be nothing more than a train wreck you can't take your eyes off of, Regardless, we'll have fun on the way there.... wherever "there" is. Well, at least I'll be having fun.
